 Modular storages
For the storage of flake or plate ice Recom offers pre-engineered and standardized ice storage solutions in capacities ranging from 23 tons of ice to 200 tons of ice. The containerized range offers two sizes, namely 23 tons and 40 tons. The modular range covers capacities 50 / 75 / 100 / 120 / 150 / 200 tons.

The modular range
Recom modular ice storages are insulated storages designed to store large amounts of flake or plate ice.
Each storage is furnished with an inner automatic ice screw outlet system and separate refrigeration system to keep the storage temperature at -9°C. These storages are first fully assembled in our factory after which they are disassembled, shipped to location and installed on site

On top of the storage supported by a separate construction (optional) one or more flake ice machines can be mounted. Freshly produced flake ice will fall into the storage. During ice production the internal rake mechanism constantly spreads the ice evenly throughout the storage. When flake ice is requested the automatic ice rake mechanism will push out the ice into the ice screw outlet mechanism, consisting of one or more spiral conveyors. Optionally we can supply additional air or spiral delivery systems and automatic weighing systems.

Controls
For integrated controls, Recom provides the storage with a PLC control unit and a touch screen panel for easy operation and visualisation of settings and measurements. To monitor the operation inside the storage is furnished with cameras and switch board mounted display.
