The containerized Recom block ice machines produce 5T, 7,5 and 10T/day. The several block ice weights are 12,5, 15, 20, 25 or 50 kg.

The containers are equipped with a brine tank which will be kept on -10°C due to the refrigeration system. The stainless steel or galvanized cans, filled with fresh water, will be immersed in the brine tank and the water will freezer to ice with a temperature of -5°C.

After a fixed time the cans will be unload by a movable unload system and tranported to the hot watertank to be defrosted from the cans. After defrost the unload system will transport the cans to the unload table and the block ice is now ready for use.
