Recom containerized Flake Ice Systems are made for industrial application and have been designed to produce clean and fresh flake ice in a trouble free manner under the most difficult circumstances.

The flake ice produced by Recom machines is sub-cooled to -5°C/-6°C. Due to the high amount of energy accumulation the ice is very suitable to be used for concrete cooling.

Each concrete cooling system comes with the following main components:

  • Bitzer screw compressor(s)
  • Insulated ice drum with external stainless steel cladding
  • Container cooling
  • PLC control
  • Switch board with mainly Telemecanique components
  • Pre-water chiller

Three different condenser alternatives are offered:

  • Air cooled condenser
  • Evaporative condenser
  • Water cooled condensor
